Andover Day 2026: One of Our Favorite Days of the Year

There are certain days every year that remind us just how special it is to be part of the Andover community, and Andover Day is definitely one of them.

On Saturday, September 19, downtown Andover will once again come alive with more than 240 local businesses and community organizations, live entertainment, food, activities for kids, the farmers market, and plenty of familiar faces. It’s one of those days when it feels like the entire town comes together - and it’s something we look forward to every year.

Of course, The Carroll Group will be there, too!

Come find us downtown between 11 AM and 4 PM, say hello to Tom and the team, and grab some free ice cream while you’re there. Whether we’ve helped you buy or sell a home, you’ve followed us for years, or you simply happen to be walking by, we’d love for you to stop and say hi.

For us, Andover Day isn’t about real estate. It’s about spending time with the people, businesses, and organizations that make this community such a great place to call home.

Getting to Andover Day

Because Main Street will be closed through the heart of downtown, plan on parking nearby and walking into the event.

Coming from the south/Boston area: Take I-93 North toward Andover and follow the appropriate exit toward downtown Andover. Because of Saturday's road closures, follow posted detours and directions from public safety personnel as you approach downtown.

Coming from the north: Andover is accessible from both I-93 and I-495. As you approach downtown, allow a little extra time and follow posted detours around the event area.

Taking the train: Andover Station on the Haverhill Line is within walking distance of downtown, making the Commuter Rail another option for getting to the festivities.

Parking & Road Closures

A little planning will make getting downtown much easier. Main Street between Elm Square and School Street will be closed from 4:00 AM until approximately 6:30 PM for event setup, Andover Day, and breakdown.

The Main Street and Old Town Hall parking lots will be closed, as will the municipal lots at the Town Offices for the Andover Farmers Market. The Park Street Village lot and Doherty Middle School parking lots will remain open, and accessible parking will be available in the horseshoe driveway in front of the Town Offices. Visitors should also watch for posted no-parking areas and allow extra travel time.

Andover Day only happens once a year, and we can’t think of a better excuse to spend a Saturday downtown supporting local businesses, catching up with neighbors, and celebrating the community we’re lucky to be part of.
